Technorati won't ban you for writing about other blogs. I'll link to something I find interesting and write a little bit about it in your blog. Technorati is not against its members getting together and complimenting each others blogs.
There's not a whole lot of benefits to this except bragging rights. It won't significantly increase your traffic. It's still fun =D.
After a lot of looking there's not a whole lot of blogging forums around. There's one pretty large one for blogger and some subsections in SEO sites. Most are tacky PHPBB installations. I haven't successful even once in my attempts to contact someone with a blog that wants to increase their technorati rating. It's bizarre, not even int he webdesign chat rooms. This is my final attempt at the initiative.
Even if you contact me, leave an instant messenger ID as a comment too. Maybe someone else viewing this page will contact you and trade links.
