ProgrammingI like to parse my own weblogs easy to read statistics, but at first I couldn't successfully delete and rebuild the weblogs so that apache starts writing them again. I use the unlink() command on the access_log to delete then fopen to create it again but apache no longer writes to it after it's rebuilt.
What I ended up having to do is restart apache with the exec command.

On fredora linux. I had to look around and see where exactly the apache (httpd) file was on my linux server since it seemed in a really nonstandard location. I knew it was really fast since I've done it several times with webmin. The restarting takes all of 1 second or less, so that's not too bad.
