EducationalYahoo! answers is a pretty good resource and I like answering questions, but questions get deleted for any reasona and many people have been banned. I rather have a personal record of all my questions than entrust them to the Yahoo! abuse report people.
Yahoo will never do useful stuff like link to their competitors and give a lot of great links. They want people to stay in yahoo and only yahoo. Makes me think of google's model, don't be evil. They also wouldn't show statistics, because the statistics make them look stupid. The top question is "how are you", and despite people thinking there's hundreds of thousands of people, there's only 22,000 questions per day, making it likely that there's only about 4000-8000 people actually using the site daily.
It's more than doubled in recent weeks, and the stocks are now slightly climbing.
