I knew most aol'ers are computer fucktards. They pay double or triple what most people pay for dialup and its even slower. Sometimes they quick AOL and join walmart connect, which is the same thing as AOL except half the slow speed they had before.
AOL recently released the searches of hundreds of thousands of people to the joy of spammers, dataminers, and marketers. It shows some disturbing aol search trends verifying that aol'ers are usually redneck imbreds or old luddites. A york times article was able to actually verify who a person was just by their searches, proving that even though aol switched their screen names to numerical ids, it was still possible to identify people for their perverted searches.
Someone missplaced a comma in a 14 page contract, allowing Aliant Inc to break their 5 year contract with Rogers Communications Inc after only a year prior notice. The deal was to rig up cable lines for $9.60 a pole. Rates were going up and Aliant decided to cancel the static fee.
